Club Doubles Champs great success

The Waimairi Club Championships Doubles Tournament was held on Saturday 5 September. Over 30 competitors took part in the event which was held in perfect playing conditions. It was really pleasing to see all events well contested, people taking the opportunity to start preparing for the competitive season ahead. Complementing the high standard of tennis were superbly cooked sausages and other refreshments which combined to create an excellent atmosphere.

Women’s B Grade Doubles:  Alison Coats and Megan Bruynel

Men’s Open Doubles:  Remi Feneon and Jarrah Robertson

Men’s B Grade Doubles:  Chris Bruin and Hank Tsai

Open Mixed Doubles:  Joelene Feneon and Remi Feneon

Mixed B Grade Doubles:  Jill Gimblett and Chris Hadlee
