Our New Head Coach, Andrew Fairley

The club is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Fairley to the role of Head Coach.

Andrew joins the club with over 25 years coaching experience within a variety of roles and club environments. 

 Originally hailing from Scotland and before relocating to Christchurch he ran his own successful coaching business in Queenstown for over 8 years, he was also a ski instructor during those  chilly winter months. 

 Andrew was Racquets Manager for Next Generation Clubs / David Lloyd Leisure Clubs in his home city of Dundee, Scotland.

During his 12 years at Next Generation he was heavily involved with all areas of the tennis program and always ensured  members enjoyed their tennis experience.

 Mini tennis / Hot Shots were successfully launched at the club under his guidance, and it’s quick success saw many children enjoying  the program and playing events and progressing  into competing  juniors. 

 Andrew very much enjoys being on court and enjoys working across all areas of the coaching program. He is  enthusiastic, motivated  and always looks to how he can improve  his clients tennis. 

 During his spare time he enjoys Skiing and has recently  started Tutoring with Tennis NZ. 

 He looks forward to working with members of the club to achieve  their tennis goals.
